How Do I Tell How Much Armour I Have On?
On shields, ringmail, gauntlets etc & also some swords it tells you how much armour it provides for your character so I was just wondering if there was a way to find out how much armour he is wearing altogether.
I've been playing Runescape for a while and on there it gives you the option to see Equipment Stats, as shown below: HK |

In Guild Wars there is no "global" armor class.
Each part of your armor has it's own armor class and it is shown in it's description. However, If you have 70 AL on your chest armor, and 5 AL on your feet, the amount of damage you receive is based on where you get hit. |

In Guild Wars, there is no "All together" armor rating. Each part of your body wears a certain piece of armor with its own armor rating. if you have 70 armor on your chest and 5 every where else and you get hit in the chest, for that attack you have 70 armor, but if you get hit in the feet for example, you have 5 armor for that attack. The only armor that is global comes from shields and enchantments

Another question I have is: If I have a focus item with +5 armour enchantment is that the same as wielding a shield which provides 5 armour? I only ask because I found a focus item which has +5 armour & +10% health when you wield it and was wondering whether to use this in place of the shield or not. HK |

Yes, you can use that focus item in place of a shield until you find something better.
